Paired up with Sequoia National Park, Kings Canyon National Park boasts a forest of legendary sequoias, Grant Grove, but also the superb Kings Canyon Scenic Byway. This connects the famous forest and the splendid Kings River canyon, lodged between granite cliffs over 1 000m high. The North Dome (2 657m) and Grand Sentinel (2 596m) frame the end of the road, Roads End, where high mountain range hikes begin.
